- Best Dissertation Award in Materials Science and Engineering
The Best Dissertation Award in Materials Science and Engineering is presented to one student annually by the Program in Materials Science and Engineering at UC San Diego in recognition of their exceptional research. To be considered for this year's award, students must have their dissertation defense by the Spring 2024 graduation deadline (14 June 2024).
- Outstanding Leadership in Instructional Support Award in Materials Science and Engineering
The Outstanding Leadership in Instructional Support Award in Materials Science and Engineering is presented to Instructional Assistants whose student and instructor evaluations reflect an exemplary level of performance as Instructional Support.
- Community Service Award in Materials Science and Engineering
The Community Service Award in Materials Science and Engineering recognizes an individual that has, on a volunteer basis, made exceptional contributions to the UC San Diego campus and the surrounding community, demonstrating their appreciation for the university and desire to help others.
